Sound Healing Workshop for Teachers and Practitioners in Cleveland Ohio

About this Event

Sound has been used as a tool for healing in many cultures for thousands of years. Hindi Mantras, Tibetan seed syllables, Singing bowls, and even meditation on sounds in the natural world have all been used for the same purpose: to bring us from a state of imbalance back to a state of balance.

We will explore a variety of ways of using sound to balance and align ourselves and our clients.

You will learn how to use tuning forks to bring chakras into a unified spin, based in the Esoteric Acupuncture teachings of Mikio Sankey. We will look at the role of frequencies of various tuning forks and intention as we explore this practice.

We will explore how to use singing bowls to relax your students and encourage new states of awareness.

Singing bowls have complex overtones that inspire relaxing qualities through entrainment. We will also talk about qualities of good singing bowls and how to choose one.

Perhaps the most powerful way of using sound for healing is through the voice. We will explore ways of using our own voices as tools for healing as well as ways of guiding our communities and clients in using their voices for their own transformation.

You will also learn basic dowsing techniques. Dowsing is one way of gaining information regarding the most effective ways of working with sound for individual clients. Using pendulums and/or dowsing wires we will explore techniques for dowsing, and ways of moving into a particular meditative state so we can access this larger field of energetic information.
