Winter to Spring plant poems

Plums In Winter

In this time we draw deeper

Into our roots.

As the mycelia comes to life

This is our time

To repair and restore.

We invite you to join us in the

Not Doing

Into the rest

Into the breath

The place of dreaming a new kind of wholeness

Into being

The power lies in our dreams together

We grow strong as we go deep

Nourish our roots

As they weave us deep

Deeper into the mycelia

Deeper in to the web

Of all life

Radiance of Springtime Magnolia

Slow and sleepy at first

Then quickening into buds..

But no!

Go slow..

There is no rush to blossom

Savor each drop of rain

Each expression of opening

The breathing of

moment by moment movement

The slower

The deeper

Now is the time of coming up

From the depths of winter rooting

See if you can follow me

Match MY pace!

Mama Magnolia on Valentine’s Day

From Winter

Spring emerges

Each Blossom its own expression

The quickening of sap

From roots to sun

This bursting of goodness

We receive from the earth

And share with the heavens

This blossoming is how we pray

How we express gratitude for the life

We all share

Blossom freely

Following carefully

Your own truth

Expressing precisely

And with abandon

In your own

Right timing

Mama Magnolia 2/28

Full blossoming

Is my place of ecstasy

My celebration of springtime birds

Insects and rain

The glory of the sun returning

Notice the nuance of my colors

The infinity of white to pink to magenta

The colors of flowers are more potent

Than any vitamins

They provide the nourishment

Of softened sunrays

White Sage

I am here

To clear

Your senses

Vibrant purple blue

Of my flowers

To clear your eyes

Soft leather of my leaves

To dance gentleness

into your fingertips

My flavor

To sparkle

your taste buds

My fragrance

To penetrate..

Deeply, clearing

The farthest corners of

Your lungs

My smoke

Moves into every cell

Of your house

Purifying, cleansing.

Eat me!

Use me!

Burn me!

I am here

to nurture

Vitality!
